DELAWARE, OH (November 2025) – Almost one year ago, The Alpha Group, a non-profit serving people with disabilities, opened a discount bin store. This store, BINABLE, was the first of its kind in Delaware, Ohio, with one main goal; to employ adults with disabilities. BINABLE received great interest from bargain hunters around central Ohio; enough that it is moving to a bigger location where the former American Freight store once was (1141 Columbus Pike, Delaware, OH 43015).
“The decision to move our BINABLE by Alpha store was driven by our desire to increase visibility for our mission-driven retail concept,” said Liz Owens-Detillion, CEO of The Alpha Group. “This new location will not only bring greater exposure to our store but will also create more opportunities for individuals with disabilities to develop employment skills. We’re excited to provide the community with amazing deals and unique finds while expanding our inclusive workforce.”
Alpha Group members relish in the opportunity to join that workforce, using their abilities to improve their quality of life. It also strengthens valuable skills for a competitive workforce. One of BINABLE’s employees, Ella G. shared “As someone who has never had a job before it has opened my eyes with how to work and converse with others, since socialization is something that I struggle with. I think it is a really good opportunity to learn to work amongst peers and communicate with customers.”
BINABLE offers a unique shopping experience with overstocked or returned items from your favorite stores at unbeatable prices. Shipments of new products are placed in the bins every Friday, offering a wide selection to choose from. The prices drop every day until Thursday when everything is just $1! In addition to the bins, shoppers can find specially marked items and special sales throughout the week.
BINABLE is currently located at 1000 Alpha Drive, Delaware, OH 43015. Moving sales start on November 6 and continue while supplies last.
The new location is scheduled to open on Friday, November 14, 2025 – just in time for Black Friday! Store hours will be Monday through Saturday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
A Grand Opening Party is being planned for the new year.
