Every now and then, an intern walks through our doors and reminds us why this work matters so deeply. As a genetics major heading into genetic counseling, Aiden Thom arrived for his Direct Support Professional internship with The Alpha Group with a set of assumptions about developmental disabilities. He’s leaving with something far more powerful:

The Zoom Duck Derby is our signature fundraising event, bringing together community leaders, businesses, and families to support our mission. 7,000 rubber ducks will race down the lazy river competing for cash prizes up to $1,500! Rubber ducks are $5 each.
